This week I ordered online twice, a pair of shoes and the Rubics Cube Race game and my packages came without delay, just as I ordered them. I haven’t researched how the rubrics cube helps the brain but I’m sure it does.

Recently, I did a little research on ordering wedding invitations online and much to my surprise read the list in its entirety. Ahhhh #10…Talk to someone!  No surprise you can find anything on the internet but to see how it all comes  together by actually talking to someone across the table changes everything.

In the stationery business one of our top priorities is to help our clients realize their visions for life’s most important events. You learn so much from people by engaging in conversation, listening carefully, and witnessing their joy. I think I just described why our job is so fun.

We have brides visit the shop and share their experience with online invitation purchases.  For sure it is an option in some cases but the wedding invitation suite might be the exception. Is it a disaster every time? No, but why take the chance on a misspelled word, should I say “pleasure of your company” or “honour of your presence” or a paper weight that resembles a sticky note? After all, the intent of the marriage is to last a lifetime. Make the first impression to family and friends worthy of its importance on your “big day”.

I’ll keep you posted on my rubrics race success.

Wife to Ben, Mom to Miles and Banks, and Daughter to Bob + Becky, I have a love for not only these people, but for the creative process luxury weddings require. After thirteen years in the stationery industry, I’ve gone back to what got me interested in the business to begin with, weddings.
